A TORQ-equipped Lexus RX350h was professionally installed at a Lexus dealership, giving us a real-world example of the lift's stance and wheel-and-tire combination.

Rather than publishing an untested theoretical maximum tire size, TORQ identifies combinations we've physically installed and evaluated whenever possible.

Our RX350h development vehicle is running 255/60R19 tires on the factory 19" wheels. This setup gives the RX a fuller, more capable appearance while retaining the refined character of the vehicle.

KEEP YOUR FACTORY 21s.

Many Lexus RX models come equipped with 21" wheels from the factory. Installing the TORQ lift does not mean those wheels need to be replaced.

Owners who prefer the original Lexus appearance can retain the factory wheel and tire package while gaining the additional ride height and improved stance of the TORQ lift.

For owners wanting additional tire sidewall or a more adventure-oriented setup, a 19" wheel provides considerably more sidewall while maintaining an appropriate overall tire diameter.

Final tire clearance varies by tire manufacturer, actual tire dimensions, wheel width, offset, alignment and vehicle configuration.

WHEEL OFFSET MATTERS.

Tire size is only part of the equation. Wheel width and offset determine where the tire sits in relation to the fender and suspension.

MORE TUCKED ← HIGHER OFFSET   |   LOWER OFFSET → MORE OUTWARD

A higher positive offset generally keeps the wheel farther inside the fender. Reducing positive offset moves the wheel outward for a more aggressive stance, but can also reduce clearance at the body as tire size increases.

TORQ TIP: Don't choose a wheel based on offset alone. Wheel width, tire size and offset need to be considered together.

Always verify wheel and tire clearance through the full steering and suspension range before operating the vehicle.

Will the lift change the factory ride quality?

The TORQ system retains the factory shocks and springs, allowing the RX to maintain the characteristics of the original suspension while adding approximately 2" of lift.

What's the largest tire I can run?

There isn't one responsible answer for every RX. Clearance depends on actual tire dimensions, wheel width, wheel offset, alignment and vehicle configuration. TORQ prefers to publish physically tested combinations as they are verified rather than advertise an untested theoretical maximum.

Do I need an alignment?

Yes. A professional alignment should be performed after installation.

Does installation require cutting?

The lift system itself is designed as a bolt-on installation. Oversized wheel and tire combinations may require additional clearance work depending on the setup.

Where is the kit made?
