Use this guide to help choose the right tire and wheel setup for your TORQ lift kit. Fitment can vary depending on tire brand, wheel width, offset, alignment, and trimming preference.
2" Front Level Kit
Clean Daily Driver Setup
- Best Daily Fit: 295/60R20 or 305/65R18
- Easy 33" Setup: 33x12.50 on a 9" wheel with positive offset
- Aggressive Option: 35x12.50 with minor trimming
- Best Wheel Offset: +18 to +25 recommended
A 2" level can clear larger tires, but 35" setups may require trimming the front liner, mud flap area, or minor plastic adjustments depending on wheel offset.
3" Front / 1.5" Rear Lift Kit
TORQ Recommended Sweet Spot
- Sweet Spot: 35x12.50R18 on 18x9 +18
- Great 20" Setup: 295/60R20 on 20x9 +18
- Easier 35" Fit: 35x11.50R20
- Aggressive Fit: 37x12.50 with trimming
For most customers, a 35" tire on a positive offset wheel gives the best balance of clearance, stance, ride quality, and everyday drivability.

TORQ Tip: Negative offset wheels such as -18, -24, or -44 create a wider stance, but they also increase rubbing and trimming requirements. For the cleanest fit, stay with a positive offset wheel.
