We designed this kit so that you will NOT need to trim your plastic bumper cover. All you need to do is cut out a small hole for the fairlead entry/exit.

Absolutely durable product and amazing customer service

Just wanted to start out by saying the guys over here at TORQ are amazing. I do off road recovery as volunteer work and have used this mount to pull many things. Busses, RVs, F250s in mud etc and not once have I had any issues. Paired them with RCI bumper reinforcement brackets I’ll say you can pull basically anything your winch is rated to or higher with snatch blocks. Unfortunately, I was in a really bad high speed head on collision on the highway with my Tacoma and almost lost my life. The winch bracket not only survived, but was still intact and the winch was still attached even bending the winch assembly itself and somehow still being held to the frame. I told the guys over at TORQ this and they went ahead and sent me another for no charge. Absolutely didn’t have to do that but they did anyway. 100% recommend all day long and will buy and support any day of the week.

OEM look never get old

Best upgrade and must have for off roading or overlanding! Hidden hitch to keep OEM look. Highly recommended.

excellent hidden winch

Very straight forward install ,cant even tell I have Winch on my 23 tacoma.Went with smitty bilt 12000 lbs x20 gen 3 synthetic rope .The only way you know there is a winch is the rope comes out of the bottom of stock license plate holder,and hooks to the recovery hook on drivers side .I will have to remove license plate when I want to use winch But that is only 2 screws .Excellent product .

Adds a Clean, “OEM+” Look

Great option for mounting a winch on a budget or if you don’t want a big, heavy bumper just to have a winch. I wanted the “OEM+” look with a winch and this mount is perfect for that! Much less weight overall for the same benefit. Just make sure you use bumper reinforcements with this winch mount if you plan on doing some heavy winching! This winch mount is installed with only the (6) factory nuts and bolts so if you’re winching you’re putting a lot of force on the nuts and the threads of those bolts…not ideal.
